There is an additional layer of security for your ROCC Online account with the optional but highly recommended two-step login. With two-step login enabled, your identity will be verified through your email address or an optional alternate email.

After you enter your login credentials, you will be sent an email with a six digit code to the email address of your ROCC Online account. This code is valid for 5 minutes, after which it can no longer be used to log in to your account.

Please make sure that you don’t close the login window before you have entered the code, as a new code is generated every time you input your account credentials. If you try to log in more than once, you should make sure to only enter the most recent code in the login window, as any previous codes won’t be accepted.

This feature can be activated/deactivated at two levels

• When an Organisation/subscription activates two-step login it applies to all users of the organisation.
  It is controlled via Manage Organisation -> Settings and Subscription where once activated the User’s of the organisation will authenticate via two-step login regardless of their own two-step login user settings.
• When a User activates two-step login it applies the next time they login.
  It is controlled within the user’s User Profile (in the header menu).
  A user can supply an alternate email address which provides an optional contact to send the one time password. This can be useful when a user cannot access their primary email inbox.
  A user that does not have two-step login activated but has membership to an organisation that does have it activated will authenticate with the two-step login.

Two-step login is activated by default for all new subscriptions. It can deactivated in via Manage Organisation -> Settings and Subscription.
