ROCC Unlocked : Moving Beyond the Score – Leading with Group Data
August 21 @ 8:30 am - 4:00 pm
$270.00

This day is for leaders and champions who are ready to use ROCC beyond the individual profile—at a whole-school level.
We’ll work with your group data graphs to identify patterns, choose priorities, and make clear decisions about training, coaching, resourcing, and strategic focus. You’ll leave with a simple, repeatable way to measure change over time, and a practical approach for feeding results back to staff to celebrate progress and sustain motivation—plus guidance on reporting meaningfully to families and leadership/department.
Outcomes (by the end of the day, participants will be able to)
Participants will be able to:
- Read and interpret their own ROCC group data graphs to identify patterns, strengths, and priority needs across a cohort, year level, team, or whole school.
- Use group data to make context-specific decisions—recognising when a strategy is relevant for your cohort and when it’s not—so planning is driven by evidence, not trend-following.
- Make clear, defensible decisions from group data to guide school-wide planning, including:
- priority focus areas (what to work on next)
- training and coaching priorities (who needs what support)
- funding and resourcing decisions (what to invest in and why).
- Translate group data into an action plan that is practical and measurable (what changes, who owns it, where it shows up, and how it will be embedded).
- Measure change over time using a simple tracking rhythm (baseline → implementation period → review → next cycle), so progress is visible and next steps are evidence-informed.
- Create feedback loops that motivate staff, including how to share progress in a way that celebrates effort, builds belief, and supports consistency (not blame).
- Communicate the data story meaningfully to different audiences by tailoring the message and level of detail for:
- staff teams (what it means for daily practice)
- families (what it means for participation and communication at home and in life)
- leadership/department (what it shows, what actions are underway, and what support is needed).
- Report progress with clarity and integrity, combining trends in the graphs with real examples of impact so the story reflects outcomes, not just scores.
